首届全球院士论坛暨青少年科研论坛

将于9月28日在华南师范大学附属中学拉开序幕。

论坛背景

创新是引领发展的第一动力，科技创新是实现世界科技强国目标的重要依托，培养拔尖的科技创新人才是我国教育的重要使命。如何培养适应时代发展与变革、能够推动我国全球化进程的科技创新人才成为我国当今国际化教育发展中面临的重要议题。

论坛介绍

全球院士论坛由京领与来自哈佛大学、剑桥大学、牛津大学、北京大学等多领域的学者专家共同发起，秉持教育让人生更美好的初心，以培养国际化创新性人才为使命，依托百余位来自以哈佛大学为代表的藤校终身正教授以及以剑桥大学、牛津大学为代表的名校教授，打造全国高中生科研平台，点燃青少年对创新和科研的热情，让更多学校培养出具有科研素养的学生，让社会涌现出更多具备国际化创新性人才素养的青少年！

主旨演讲

本届全球院士论坛暨青少年科研论坛以“创新”、“人才”、“发展”为主题，邀请了7位包括诺贝尔奖得主与来自哈佛大学、剑桥大学、牛津大学的院士就创新人才培养与科研素养提升等话题进行精彩演讲。

嘉宾介绍

马斯金教授

Prof. Maskin

诺贝尔经济学奖得主、哈佛大学校级教授、美国国家科学院院士、美国艺术与科学院院士

马斯金教授在政治经济学、博弈论、契约论、社会选择论等方面为世界做出了突出贡献。2007年，马斯金教授凭借在机制设计理论方面的成就荣获诺贝尔经济学奖，运用博弈论的特殊形式，为使市场中所有各方最大化收益做出贡献。

他获得的主要奖项还有：肯佩环境经济学奖、EFR商业周奖、马赛和图卢兹两个城市的梅达耶大赛、哈佛大学百年纪念章、克里斯托瓦尔·加巴隆基金会国际奖经济学、路易丝·布劳因基金会奖、让·雅克·拉夫芳奖、詹姆斯·乔伊斯奖等。

卡德维尔教授

Prof. Cardwell

剑桥大学工程学终身正教授、剑桥大学工程学院前院长、皇家工程院院士

作为领域内的顶尖学者，卡德维尔教授是370多篇论文和专利的作者，也是多个国际期刊和会议的董事会成员，并由于在超导材料工程应用研发上的突出贡献，于2012年被授予英国皇家工程院院士。他还是欧洲应用超导协会的创办成员，是5个国际学术期刊的董事会成员。

凯尔曼教授

Prof. Kelman

哈佛大学终身讲席教授、美国国家公共行政院院士

凯尔曼教授拥有哈佛大学社会学学士及哈佛大学政府学博士学位。教授研究撰写了数十篇与公共管理相关的论文，并被美国公共行政管理协会授予年度杰出公共服务奖。

雷奥教授

剑桥大学计算机系终身正教授、人工智能领域世界级专家、欧洲科学院院士

作为高级机器学习和人工智能专家，雷奥教授是剑桥大学多个学术负责人和成员，包括计算生物学研究组负责人、剑桥大学人工智能研究组成员、剑桥大学大数据指导委员会成员、整合癌症医学研究所成员、剑桥大数据指导委员会成员，以及欧洲学习和智能系统研究机构实验室的成员。

托尔教授

Prof. Torr

牛津大学机器人工程教授、皇家工程学院院士

托尔教授从牛津大学博士学位毕业后曾担任了牛津大学研究员，之后在微软研究院担任了六年研究科学家，并且被授予计算机视觉最高荣誉——马尔奖，以及英国皇家学会沃尔夫森研究优异奖等顶尖大奖。

梅鲁什教授

Prof. Melhuish

牛津大学教育学终身正教授、社会科学院院士、大英帝国勋章获得者

梅鲁什教授的研究对英国的社会政策做出了很大贡献，推动了1989年和2005年的儿童法案，以及2006年的儿童保育补贴。到目前为止，梅鲁什教授研究成果丰硕，发表学术论文300余篇，并因为在社会科学领域的杰出贡献，在2016年荣获大英帝国勋章。

罗伯茨教授

Prof. Roberts

剑桥大学语言学终身正教授、英国科学院院士、欧洲科学院院士

罗伯茨教授在剑桥大学任教超过20年，并曾在多所世界名校担任系主任和教授。因其在语言学领域的深刻研究与学术贡献，罗伯茨教授被评选为英国科学院院士和欧洲科学院院士。

颁奖典礼

本次全球院士论坛暨青少年科研论坛为点燃青少年对于科研创新的热情，论坛组委会以人文社科、经济管理、理学、信息与工程、医药与健康、艺术与设计在内的六大学科方向面向全国国际学校学生征集论文。

The first Global Academician Forum and Youth Scientific Research Forumsponsored by KingLead and organized by the International Department, Affiliated High School of SCNU will be held at Affiliated High School of SCNU on September 28.

Background

Innovation is the primary motivation of development. Secientific and technological innovation is an important support to achieve the goal of becoming a Tech Power in the world, and it is an important mission of China’s education to train top-notch scientific and technological innovation talents. How to effectively train scientific and technological innovative talents who can adapt to the development and change of the times and promote the process of globalization has become an important issue facing by international education in China.

Introduction

Global Academician Forum was jointly initiated by KingLead and scholars from Harvard University, University of Cambridge, Peking University and Tsinghua University, etc. Keeping the original intention of improving education on a global scale, holding the mission of cultivating international and innovative talents, and relying on more than 100 full professors from the Ivy League represented by Harvard University and professors from famous universities represented by University of Cambridge and University of Oxford, the forum will build the world’s largest and strongest platform for high school students to do research, in order to ignite young people’s passion for innovation and scientific research, and to help more schools to cultivate their students with research literacy, and eventually to promote our society to emerge more young people with the literacy of international and innovative talents.

Award Ceremony

Global Academician Forum and Youth Scientific Research Forum devotes to ignite young people’s passion for innovation and scientific research, effectively improve their scientific-research literacy and ability.

The committee solicits scientific-research papers from outstanding students from international schools all over China based on six disciplines, including Humanities and Social Sciences, Economic Management, Science and Technology, Information Engineering, Medicine and Health, Art and Design.

The committee will review these scientific-research papers based on the aspects of scientific topics, standardized format and academic value. The results will be announced at the award ceremony holding by the academicians and representatives.

Meanwhile, if the international schools had made outstanding contributions and practical achievements in the cultivation of innovative talents and their students had won corresponding awards in this scientific-research papers solicitation activity, they would receive the honors of“Strong Scientific Research Chinese International School” and “Scientific Research Experimental Chinese International School”presented by the committee.

Agenda

Standing in the historical beginning, China has made an important strategic decision to build our country into a leading power in science and technology. To speed up the process of building China into the leading power as well as enhance the technical strength which take self-innovation capacity for sci-tech as core, we are required to pay more attention to the cultivation of teenagers, especially their scientific research literacy and ability of innovation.

On the Global Academician Forum, world-renowned scientists and academicians from the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe will bring an academic feast based on their own research fields and research experience, to help the participants to understand the significance and improving methods of scientific research literacy and ability of innovation.

The awards awarded by the forum is a recognition of the achievements made by the winning schools and students in the cultivation of scientific and technological innovation talents, we also seek to help the winners making more breakthroughs and progress in the improvement of scientific research literacy and innovation ability, and further assist and promote the cultivation of scientific and technological innovation talents in China!
